Maple makes a beautiful, strong, dent resistant floor. Hard Maple has been used extensively in bowling alleys and basketball courts. A closed grained wood with uniform texture.  The colors vary from light red to reddish brown color to a creamy white.

First Grade Maple is distinguished by its brightness and superior uniformity of color. All white sapwood, it contains no brown heartwood, and only occasional mineral streaks.
